Wayne J. Solomon
Trombone
Wayne is very active as a performer throughout California and the US. He is currently the bass trombonist with the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra and Modesto Symphony Orchestra, and has previously held positions with the Napa Valley, Monterey, and Santa Cruz symphonies and Sarasota Opera Orchestra in Florida. He performs frequently with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in Costa Mesa, CA, including a tour to China in 2018. He has also performed with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, and San Diego Symphony. Wayne is also the orchestra personnel manager for the Fresno Philharmonic.

He has been a member the Carmel Bach Festival and Music in the Mountains Festival in Grass Valley since 2000, and has been a member of the Sunriver Music Festival in Bend, OR since 2011. Wayne has performed with other summer festivals such as the Cabrillo Music Festival and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. In his spare time he enjoys playing ice hockey, backpacking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and riding his road bicycle.
