Ela Kodžas

BCA Violin/Viola

Serbian-American historical violinist Ela Kodžas enjoys a dynamic career as a collaborator and performer across the United States. Recent performances include features with the American Bach Soloists (San Francisco, CA), Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra (Los Angeles, CA), Bach Virtuosi Festival (Portland, ME), Midtown Concerts at the Gotham Early Music Scene (New York, NY) and as concertmaster with Juilliard415 (New York, NY). She is a Pi Kappa Lambda Scholar and was named a recipient of an Early Music America Summer Scholarship (2022), allowing her to participate in courses with Amandine Beyer, Bruce Dickey, Bernhard Forck, and Enrico Gatti. A native of Rochester, NY, Ela holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, a Master of Music degree from UCLA, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Baroque Violin Performance at the Juilliard School. In her free time, Ela enjoys exploring coffee shops and dog watching!
