The Epic Adventures of Leonard and Rasmus! The Hidden Forest
Director Suzanne Mudge; Members of the Carmel Bach Festival Orchestra and Chorale
Leonard & Rasmus learn about the forest ecosystem, the rebirth and renewal of trees, and how trees communicate with each other. From myth to reality, trees are an important part of the natural world and we’ll feature a host of composers who celebrate trees and the theme of rebirth and renewal in their music. Composers include Montgomery, Persichetti, Cage, Ravel, J.S. Bach, Rorem, Bernofsky, Sondheim, and Harrison. Appearance by Mahi Shah, 2023 Monterey County Youth Poet Laureate.
