Gala Entertainment
Join the Legacy. Help Define Carmel’s Cultural Future.
Rooted in the creative spirit of Carmel, this year’s Gala celebrates a legacy of artistic patronage that continues to shape our community today. From the hand-built stone walls of Tor House—home of poet Robinson Jeffers and Una Jeffers—to the sculptural wonder of the Emile Norman House, these remarkable places stand as testaments to the artists and patrons that built a thriving cultural landscape.
Today, as the Festival gains national recognition and attracts extraordinary talent, we stand at a pivotal moment—on a trajectory toward the ranks of the world’s leading festivals. Just as the patrons of the past nurtured a vibrant artistic community along this coastline, we now call on you to carry that legacy forward. With your support, we can build on this momentum and help secure Carmel’s place on the global cultural stage.

The Jeffers
Robinson built the tower as a gift for Uma- carrying stones up from the beach by hand.
Hawk Tower
The tower was a retreat within the property and part of a home that became a hub for visiting writers, artists, and cultural figures.
