Victoria Marshall
Assistant Conductor
Victoria Marshall, conductor and mezzo-soprano, is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in choral conducting at Northwestern University, where she studies under Dr. Andrew Megill. She serves as Director of Music at Winnetka Congregational Church on Chicago’s North Shore. At Northwestern, she teaches the sophomore-level aural skills sequence and has previously directed Northwestern Camerata, the university’s all-treble choral ensemble. In the 2025-2026 season, she will serve as guest director of Vox Venti, a Chicagoland ensemble dedicated to championing new choral music by LGBTQ+ composers.
Victoria has performed professionally as both an operatic and choral singer across Chicago, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Winnipeg. Her operatic roles include Idamante (Idomeneo), Olga (Eugene Onegin), Bianca (The Rape of Lucretia), Dritte Magd (Elektra), and Madame de la Haltière (Cendrillon). She sings with the Grant Park Music Festival Chorus, The Crossing, Music of the Baroque Chorus, Stare at the Sun, William Ferris Chorale, and Roots in the Sky. In Canada, she has collaborated with the Canadian Opera Company Chorus, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir, the Elmer Iseler Singers, and The Theatre of Early Music.
