Description

Lynn Carr is an accomplished basket weaver. As a lifelong resident of the Monterey Peninsula, her pine needle basket artistry combines her European heritage and the traditional Native America techniques using the wheat-stitch pattern. The pine needles are collected from the California coast and the Sierras.

Her work is available at the Camel Mission Museum Store and Homecrafters’ marketplace at the Sunset Center on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and privately.
