Description
Sculpture has been Eleen Auvil’s primary focus for the past thirty years. Her materials include bronze, copper, stone, wood, handmade paper and mixed media. Her techniques and subjects are equally diverse.
Auvil is also a talented textile designer and a printmaker, best known for her distinctive monotypes. She holds a rare dual Artist Member status, having juried into the Carmel Art Association separately for both two- and three-dimensional works. She has trained and taught widely, received numerous awards, and exhibited across the United States over a career spanning nearly six decades.
