Elizabeth Johnson Knight
Mezzo-soprano
This is Liz’s 15th season in the Bach Festival Chorale. Between summers in Carmel, she enjoys a career that includes both solo and choral singing. Some recent highlights include appearances as a guest soloist with the Winston-Salem Symphony and recitals at the University of Mississippi and University of Louisiana Monroe. She is a member of several professional choirs including Kinnara and the GRAMMY-nominated South Dakota Chorale.

Her greatest love is teaching. Liz is on the voice faculty at the University of Georgia, and has previously taught at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Murray State University, and the University of Louisiana Monroe. She holds degrees from the University of North Texas (DMA), Indiana University (MM), and the University of Mississippi.
